HOW TO FIND US

A haven of rest located on the hills halfway between Sorrento and Positano: Villa Rosamaria is a place of absolute relaxation, where privacy, peace and quiet are combined with the possibility of quickly reaching both Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. Suffice it to say that the Villa is only 5 km from the historic centre of Sorrento, 7 km from Positano and 20 km from Amalfi. Nestling high on the hillside, the villa offers our guests an unforgettable view: on one side the Gulf of Sorrento, Mount Vesuvius and Mount Faito, on the other the Gulf of Salerno and the Li Galli islands.

HOW TO REACH US

14 Via Nastro Azzurro, Piano di Sorrento 80062, NA, Italy

Latitude: 40.618312 – Longitude: 14.422143

Given its location on the hillside, away from the chaos of the city, we strongly suggest you reach the Villa with your own transport, so that you can fully exploit the strategic position and enjoy the wonders of the Sorrento peninsula and the Amalfi coast.

From the airport

The nearest airport is Naples Capodichino International Airport. If you take a taxi, make sure that the fixed rate is applied, in no case more than € 130 for the ride. Alternatively, we suggest you take the Curreri coach, that will take you to Sorrento in about one and a half hours, and get off at the Sant’Agnello piazza where you can find the registered taxi rank for a ride to the Villa (it will take roughly 15 minutes and cost about €30).

Villa Rosamaria organises private transfers from Naples Capodichino International airport starting from €120.

By car

Take the A3 Napoli-Salerno motorway and take the exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Follow the SS 145 road towards Sorrento. Go straight on for about 25 km through 3 tunnels and the exits of various towns including Castellammare, Gragnano, Vico Equense and Seiano.

Past Seiano, after a few minutes, the road becomes a panoramic road which overlooks the Gulf of Sorrento. Keep going straight for another 5 km until you get to Meta and then Piano di Sorrento. Once in Piano di Sorrento, turn left into Via Cavone and follow the signs to Positano. There will be an uphill road of about 5 km that will lead you to a large intersection (on your left you will find the Royal Hills Hotel – Colli di San Pietro). At this point take great care not to follow the signs to Positano and the Amalfi Coast but turn right, towards Colli di Fontanelle / S. Agata sui due Golfi. After turning right, keep going for another 500 metres: the Villa will be on your right.

By train

Once you arrive by train at the central train station of Naples (or Naples Garibaldi), head to the departure point of “Circumvesuviana” trains. Trains to Sorrento leave every 30 minutes until 11.30 pm and it takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to arrive in Sant’Agnello, which is the stop before Sorrento and it is where you need to get off. From Sant’Agnello, we suggest you take a taxi to Villa Rosamaria (about 30 euros), or one of the “SITA” buses heading towards Positano and get off at the Colli di San Pietro stop.

Villa Rosamaria organises private transfers from Naples train station starting from €120.

By ferry

If you are in Naples, Capri, Ischia or Positano, you can get to Sorrento by ferry. Once arrived at the port of Sorrento we recommend taking a bus (line A, B or C) and getting off at the Sorrento train station stop. From there take a “SITA” bus towards Positano and get off at Colli di San Pietro.
