One thing to keep in mind—you’ll definitely want a car! The location is peaceful and a bit tucked away, which is part of its charm, but having a vehicle makes getting around so much easier. Driving along those winding coastal roads is an experience in itself, and totally worth it for the views!

Also, a big shoutout to Stephano—he was incredibly easy to communicate with, always helpful, and made everything super smooth for us!

All in all, an amazing getaway. If you're looking for a scenic, relaxing stay with access to some of Italy’s best spots, this is the place!

The Villa... read more is very peaceful and private. Nice to be away from the crowds in Sorrento. We did drive to sorrento once for dinner, which was about 17 minutes with parking, but I wouldn’t want to stay in sorrento even if walking would be easier. There’s a few stores about 5 minute walk from the villa, and a grocery store with parking a couple minutes drive down the street. (The coop is better but further away.) Download the “Easy Park” app for all of Europe if you rent a car. Very simple to use. We loved the patio and ac in all the rooms. Stefano was extremely generous with helpful recs. Speaking of, il Refugio restaurant down the street across from the gelato and next to the grocery store is a phenomenal restaurant. No view but great vibe and best meatballs in southern Italy. Yes you can order spaghetti & meatballs. Thank you!

Speaking of amazing, we did the added pizza dinner. Everything was done at the house and all was fresh and most importantly delicious. This dinner was amazing and my entire family absolutely loved it. I would highly recommend doing it.

Stefano recommended we rent a car which we did not do and it was difficult to get around. There was one restaurant within walking distance called La Rosa which was great. The food and the views were both excellent. To get to the Sorrento coast and the Amalfi coast we hired a driver through Viator. There were no public transportation options and no taxi options from this location.

The coffee provided was great. You'll need to pick up some milk at the market to make a cappuccino. We picked lemons in the back yard and made homemade lemonade. We also picked fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden and made Caprese salad. You'll need to get your fresh mozzarella from the market as well. This also made the experience more fun and memorable.
